The Oak Island Senior (50 plus) Craft and Gift store is comprised of items handmade by the members. The crafts include such items as handmade jewelry, knitted and crocheted items, stained glass, stuffed animals, kitchen items, wood crafted items, handbags and much more. The center offers classes to members and non-members at a reasonable fee.

 | Our doors opened in the late 1960's. We provide a place to help you through The Golden Years. The store has become home to many local talented artisans. They have the opportunity to display and sell their hand crafted work when they have joined. You can easily spend hours browsing around the store checking out the different crafter's work. If you would like to become a member of the Oak Island Senior Citizen Center, you may come into the shop and fill out an application. You must be at least 50 years old. The yearly Dues for single is $15.00 and couples $20.00. Membership year begins January 1 of each year. What a deal! Come join us and see what all the fun is about.
